Sponsored by...the Learning Department?

Is your Learning department used to staying in your box...or coloring outside the lines? Here is a suggestion based on what some big brands are doing.

Especially as #stayathome and social distancing are more and more our norm, brands are looking for advertising opportunities...but in a way that doesn't feel, well, gross.

As more concerts and presentations are being made online, companies like Pepsi, Fiat Chrysler, and more are sponsoring these events. Live streamed performances will have logos and the brand named, helping raise awareness of not only the cause, but also of the brand.

With so many online meetings, not just training...are you approaching manager and company leaders to allow you to have a call out, "Brought to you by the Learning Department. Surviving and Growing."

What if there is a special initiative that your department is rolling out, or a quick tutorial about how to access important information...are you proactively making this available to others to display during their meetings...or are you still in a 'have them come to us/ the LMS' mentality?

Now more than ever, we have to be creative about getting information to our teams.

Getting an endorsement from a senior leader, having them record a testimonial that is shared during other team meetings...these can help make permanent improvements to the priority Learning plays in your company's future.

What do you think?
